Frequently asked questions
How much does a custom app cost?
Projects start at $4,000 (€3,500)excl. VAT for a PWA and $6,800 (€6,000)excl. VAT for a business app. The quote becomes fixed after the scoping phase.
What is a PWA, in practice?
A web app that installs on a phone or computer straight from the browser, without going through the stores. It can send notifications and work offline.
Who owns the code?
You do. Once the project is paid in full, the source code and the rights to use the app are transferred to you, along with all access.
I can build my app myself with AI, so why pay?
For a prototype or a personal tool, go ahead: it is quick and inexpensive. As soon as the app touches your clients, your data or your revenue, what AI does badly without supervision becomes risky: security, data access, payments, maintenance. I can take over your prototype or coach you by the hour so you can carry on alone.
Do you work with clients outside France?
I am based in Normandy, France. Workshops are held by video call, so the work can be done remotely, and on site when the project justifies it.
How long does a project take?
2 to 4 weeks to turn a website into a PWA, 1 to 3 months for a focused business app, 3 to 6 months for a complete platform. The schedule is set during scoping.
What happens after go-live?
Three months of support are included after the production launch. After that, maintenance and new features are billed separately, as a package or by the hour, depending on your needs.
